When a stay works, nobody notices. The code opens. The Wi‑Fi holds. The bed is made. Support replies. You arrive, shut the door, and the trip begins. When it fails at any one of those points, that’s all you’ll think about for the rest of the trip. Argos Premium Stays exists so the first scenario is always yours.

Who runs Argos

Argos Premium Stays is a partnership of three engineers obsessed with process, data, and technology. We brought to short-term hosting the same bar we’ve used in our original careers: nothing runs on gut feeling, everything gets measured, and when something breaks, we go after the root cause before we change the playbook.

We built our own management tools — pricing, financial reconciliation, maintenance control, cross-platform calendar, a digital boarding pass. Everything that can be automated behind the scenes, we automate. It frees up time, reduces mistakes, and keeps the standard steady across every unit.

But we don’t automate guest support. Message, question, a snag with the stay, a neighborhood recommendation — on the other side, it’s a person replying, in Portuguese, English, or Spanish. That’s where we know real value gets created in the experience. That’s where we insist on being. Today, our average rating on Airbnb is 5 stars — and we treat that as a starting line, not a ceiling.

What you’ll find when you book with us

Entry is the first test of any stay. At Argos, it’s self check-in, any time up to 10pm, without relying on someone waiting at the door. Before you arrive, you get a digital boarding pass with the full address, front-desk instructions, unit number, lock code, Wi‑Fi network and password, and support contacts. One link. Tested. Updated.

Inside, you’ll find what you need to get the stay going: bed and bath linens washed and neatly folded, a shower kit, coffee, water, and kitchen essentials. What’s in the apartment on arrival day is what’s included — we’re not a hotel, there’s no daily restock or on-demand amenities. It’s the basics, done right, with no improvising.

Premium isn’t what’s left over of luxury. It’s what’s never missing in trust.

In Copacabana: two premium studios at Edifício Armoleu

We operate two 30m² studios on Rua Barata Ribeiro, in Copacabana, Rio de Janeiro — three blocks from the beach, two blocks from the subway, in a building with a 24/7 front desk. The units have sound-sealing windows, which makes a real difference in the middle of the busiest neighborhood in Rio’s South Zone. Each studio sleeps up to 4 guests comfortably and comes with a ready-to-work setup — desk, proper work chair, good lighting, and reliable Wi‑Fi — for anyone mixing travel with the day job. They’re Argos Esmeralda and Argos Safira: the same operational standard, different décor.

In Guarapari (ES): two ocean-view cabins in Perocão

In Perocão, Guarapari (ES), we operate two 69m² ocean-view cabins on a stretch of coastline that still keeps its peace — far from the bustle of the central waterfront. The private leisure area comes with an immersion tub and a wood-fired open-pit grill (Brazilian fogo de chão style) — made for long late afternoons, unhurried mornings, weekends with family or a small group of friends. They're Cabana Cavalo Marinho and Cabana Ouriço do Mar: the same standard as our Copa units, in a completely different setting.

Who these units are for

Argos units were designed for couples with or without kids, solo business travelers, and small groups of friends. The Copacabana studios work as well for a romantic weekend as they do for a week of remote work, with a dedicated workstation. The Perocão cabins comfortably fit anyone looking for beach time without crowds, with the setup to cook, host, and slow down.

Transparency before you commit

We think you deserve to know exactly what you’ll find before you pay. That’s why the listing shows the real location, distance to the beach, distance to the subway or a reference point, house rules, cancellation policy, and what’s included — no fine print tucked away at the bottom. If you booked expecting something the place doesn’t have, we failed before the booking. We’d rather lose the sale than lose your trust.

Frequently asked questions

What is Argos Premium Stays?

Argos Premium Stays is a private short-term rental operation founded by three engineers with backgrounds in process, data, and technology. Today we operate four units across two markets: two premium studios in Copacabana (RJ) and two ocean-view cabins in Perocão, Guarapari (ES).

How does check-in work?

It’s self check-in, any time up to 10pm. Before arrival, you receive a digital boarding pass with the address, front-desk instructions, unit number, lock code, and Wi‑Fi. No need to wait for anyone at the door. For arrivals after 10pm, we coordinate in advance.

Which cities does Argos operate in?

In Copacabana, Rio de Janeiro, we operate two premium studios in Edifício Armoleu, on Rua Barata Ribeiro, three blocks from the beach. In Perocão, Guarapari (ES), we operate two ocean-view cabins.

Which languages do you support?

Portuguese, English, and Spanish. Guest support is always human — we don’t use chatbots.

Do you host families with kids? And pets?

Families with kids: yes, kids are welcome in all units. Pets: in the Perocão cabins, yes, case by case, depending on size and profile. In the Copacabana studios, we don't host pets.

Should I book through Airbnb and Booking, or directly on the site?

Both routes work — we’re on the main platforms and also on our direct site. Booking direct means you talk to us with no middleman, and you’ll often get more flexible terms for longer stays.

Are the units quiet?

In Copacabana, the studios have sound-sealing windows, which makes a real difference on Rua Barata Ribeiro. In Perocão, the cabins are far from the bustle of the central waterfront — the noise is the sea and the wind.

What’s the cancellation policy?

It varies by unit, platform, and booking window. The exact rule appears at checkout — no surprises later. On special dates (Carnaval, Réveillon, Rock in Rio) the policy is stricter; we align on that in advance.
